Excellent piece of kit This is my third Wild Water rod. I have about 40 rods and have been fly fishing for 41 years now. I picked up the 9′ 5/6# 4 piece rod originally but I needed one I could travel with and this fits perfectly into a TSA approved, 22″ long carry on bag. I was pleasantly surprised at just how well the rod casts given the number of sections; it exceeded my expectations. My original 4 piece rod is just brilliant but I cannot put it into a carry on bag and so I picked up this rod for that purpose…
Wild trout to 22â! I bought this fly rod combo to take on a 12 day fly fishing trip tp Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. I havenât chased trout in many years and my fly fishing experience has been mostly bass and bream in freshwater and reds, specks, snook, jacks, bonefish and tarpon on the coast.
